How to become a member of

All Nations Church

How does someone join All Nations Church?  We receive members by any one of the following four (4) methods and then after attending a three (3) to four (4) hour "New Members Class":

  • By profession of faith and baptism - by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior followed by baptism by immersion.
  • By letter -  if you have already accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and belong to another Baptist church we will joyfully receive you into our church family by transfer of letter.  We will take care of the details of the transfer.
  • By Baptism from another denomination - if you know that you are a Christian and have been a member of a church of another denomination but have not been baptised, we invite you to join our church family by baptism.  This gives testimony of your salvation and obedience to Christ's example.
  • By Statement - a person may be received on the statement that he or she was baptized and formerly a member of a Baptist church but that a church letter or statement cannot be received from that church because of the inability to contact the church.  A person may join by statement if they have received immersion baptism by another evangelical church in accordance with the articles of faith of the constitution.  Such a decision must be made in consultation with the pastor and/or other appointed church consultant.

The mechanics of becoming a member involve:

1. Coming forward during the last (invitation) hymn in the service.

2. You will be greeted by the pastor and/or other church appointed counselor.

3. If applicable, after consultation you will be presented to the church with the announcement of your decision.  The aforementioned consultation could take place prior to No. 1 above.

4. You will then become a member in full standing after attendance to the "New Member Class" and baptism (if applicable per the above guidelines).  You will be presented and welcomed by the church as a new member in full standing.  Your name will then be published in the Church newsletter.
